Is This Too Much of a Leap?

In light of the problems France is having with poor Muslim immigrants, I wonder what happens if illegal Hispanics in this country get backed against the wall.
We already know that some of the illegal aliens in this country are members of a violent gang known as Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13. We also know that Al-Qaeda terrorists are seeking ties with MS-13.
Now there is talk of cracking down on illegal immigration. It would stand to reason that this would mean a crackdown on current illegals as well as preventative measures for border crossers. Does anyone think that illegals already in the United States are going to go lightly?
Consider this. Already, illegals are viewed as second-class in some circles. Obviously, illegals are paid less for the work they provide. They are afforded no job protection, because they are not supposed to be working in the first place. They live in poverty, sometimes by choice, most often by necessity. They tend to form separate communities within existing communities, frequenting immigrant-owned stores and businesses.
And wait, there's more. There have been recent increases in the deliberate targeting of illegals as victims of robberies and home invasions. A recent incident in Tifton, GA, made national news.
Is the burning of Parisian suburbs an omen of things to come in the United States?

A top al Qaeda lieutenant has met with leaders of a violent Salvadoran criminal gang with roots in Mexico and the United States — including a stronghold in the Washington area — in an effort by the terrorist network to seek help infiltrating the U.S.-Mexico border, law enforcement authorities said. Adnan G. El Shukrijumah, a key al Qaeda cell leader for whom the U.S. government has offered a $5 million reward, was spotted in July in Honduras meeting with leaders of El Salvador's notorious Mara Salvatrucha gang, which immigration officials said has smuggled hundreds of Central and South Americans — mostly gang members — into the United States.

Three people were charged with murdering six immigrant farmworkers in a series of robberies by a gang wielding baseball bats and guns.
Authorities said the robbers preyed on immigrants because they often carry large sums of cash for lack of the documents needed to open bank accounts.
